Looking for a fun, rewarding way to get involved or give back?

Consider one of our critical volunteer positions.

Many of the services that Aging & Family Services provides are accomplished through the time and efforts donated by dedicated volunteers who help out with many services throughout our area.

There are many volunteer opportunities with flexible schedules for people who would like to provide assistance to area seniors. Those wishing to become a volunteer at the center are matched with a service compatible with their interests and schedule.

We have an urgent need for a receptionist volunteer at our new administrative building. The office is located at 875 South Mineral Street in Keyser.

The receptionist welcomes guests as they arrive at the office, receives phone calls, and gives information about upcoming events. The person in this position gets to meet everyone!

Currently, we are looking for volunteers that can help staff the office weekdays between the hours of 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Please contact our agency for more information.

There is also a potential that this could be a paid opportunity through the Region 8 Planning and Development Council and the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

Senior Community Service Employment Program trains income eligible persons age 55 and older to serve in various community agencies in order to prepare for unsubsidized employment.  SCSEP assists with job search and placement (part-time/full-time) in the private sector.  Contact our agency for more information.

Join us as a volunteer and this seat will be yours!
