As we are nine weeks away from our scheduled Mackinac Tour we wanted to share the update that is being mailed to our travelers.

We understand that many of our customers may currently be experiencing concerns related to COVID-19. At Aging & Family Services, our customer’s safety and well-being are our foremost priorities. We are working closely with Diamond Tours to ensure that they are aware of best-practices when it comes to cleaning guidelines set forth by international government bodies such as the World Health Organization (WHO).

At this point, Diamond Tours has canceled all of their trips – 450 in total – originating by the end of April. They are continuously monitoring the COVID-19 information, and if it is unsafe for us to travel to Michigan in May, they will cancel our tour. If we are unable to visit Mackinac Island in May, we will immediately schedule the same trip for 2021. We also have several already tours planned for 2020 and 2021. If Diamond Tours cancels our tour, everyone will receive a refund, whether you choose insurance or not.
