At the beginning of November, we launched the “Pay It Forward” Fundraiser. This fundraiser was to help raise money for our nutrition program which includes Meals on Wheels. Did you know that while those services are offered by A&FS, the funding is separate from the agency? The Older Americans Act only pays for 1/3 of our nutrition program expenses. As a non-profit, we rely on our donors, community members, & fundraisers to help us offset the cost deficit. Please consider donating today; help us keep our seniors fed. Even the smallest amount can make a difference for the seniors in our community. These ladies and gentlemen have given so much as Veterans, nurses, teachers, bus drivers, church members, volunteers and so much more to us- it’s now time for us to Pay It Forward and help keep them fed.

These individuals, businesses, & churches have already donated to lower the wait list for meals. Won’t you join them? Thank you: Hayward Wilson State Farm Insurance, Angie Reeves, First Peoples Credit Union, Keyser Moose Lodge #662, Staggers, Heare, & Whiteman Progressive Physical Therapy, G&S Coal Company, D&L Coal Company, Potomac Memorial Gardens, Chessie Federal Credit Union, & Bruce & Rhonda Swayne, Bonnieview Ministries, Terry & Nelson Michael, One Hair Less, & Daniel Staggers Attorney at Law!
